It’s my mom’s birthday. Happy birthday!
Normally, I wouldn’t bother you all with this information, but I thought it was relevant. You see, my mother has been one of my biggest inspirations in life.
She was the one who got me into writing.
I’m lucky in that my family has always been very supportive of my writing career. They’ve never told me that I’m wasting my time, and they celebrate each and every success that I have.
My mother was the one who inspired to write. When I was little, she wrote, and when I asked for the typewriter so I could write too, she encouraged me.
When I finished my first book, she read it for me.
Every time a story gets published, she cheers for me.
I was a creative kid, but I can’t guarantee I would have started telling stories as early as I did without her constant support.
So thanks, Mom. I really appreciate it. And I won’t tell the internet how old you are.
