Turtleduck Press Celebrates Three Years

This month we’re thrilled to be celebrating the third anniversary of Turtleduck Press. Three years ago, several writers came together and decided to create a publishing house of our own, aiming to combine the quality control of traditional publishing with the flexibility and autonomy of self-publishing. We chose a name and a mandate, and got to work.

Four very busy months later, in December 2010, we launched our website along with our first three works for sale in print and ebook formats — Hidden Worlds by Kit Campbell, Knight Errant by KD Sarge, and Life as a Moving Target by Erin Zarro. Since then, we’ve put out a new book every four months. Our latest release, The Best of Turtleduck Press, Volume 1, is our eleventh work for sale.

On top of that, we’ve been busy putting up free stories and poems every single month that we don’t have a book release. We’ve amassed quite a list of them.

We’re also still looking for new members to join in the fun.

We’re proud of the work we’ve done so far, and we look forward to new and greater horizons in the future.

Happy birthday, Turtleduck Press!
